Helmet Recall

Comoto Family of Companies is conducting a voluntary recall on a small range of helmets in accordance with the rules and procedures of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).

During voluntary testing we had conducted on helmets we sell, our third-party testing company determined that some of the helmets (identified below) did not comply with testing required by the DOT. This noncompliance could create an enhanced risk of injury for a rider using these helmets. For that reason, we are recalling the following helmets:

If you have a helmet within one of the categories listed above, then you should stop using that helmet immediately. Also, you should be aware that it is a violation of federal law for you to sell any helmet covered by this recall notice.

Please contact our recall hotline at 888-258-9530 Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern time to register your helmet and receive a return label free of charge to return the recalled helmet. Or you can visit your closest local Cycle Gear Store.
